Yes. A participation fee is required only for selected creators after the curation process.

Is there an age limit? Can I join if I'm not from a creative background?

There is no age limit, and creators of all backgrounds are welcome. Whether you're an artist, designer, student, or simply someone with a story to tell, we encourage you to apply.

Can I join if I'm based outside Malaysia?
如果我居住在馬來西亞境外，可以參加嗎？
Absolutely! The Open Call is open to creators worldwide. If you need support with local printing in Malaysia, we're happy to recommend our trusted printing and paper partners.

How will the artworks be selected?
藝術作品將如何進行篩選？
Submissions will be evaluated based on their interpretation of the Afterlife theme, originality, creativity, and overall presentation. Please ensure your artwork meets the submission requirements: Card within A5 size, original artwork only, and no AI-generated or plagiarised work.
提交的作品將完全基於對「Afterlife（重生）」主題的詮釋、原創性、創意以及整體視覺呈現進行評估。請確保您的作品符合提交要求：卡片尺寸在 A5 以內、僅限原創作品，且不接受 AI 生成或抄襲作品。
Is there any limitation on how I interpret the theme "Afterlife"?
對於如何詮釋「Afterlife」主題有任何限制嗎？
Not at all. We welcome a wide range of creative expressions, including illustration, photography, poetry, collage, and mixed media. There is no right or wrong interpretation—what matters is that your work authentically communicates your own perspective and story of Afterlife.

Can I submit someone else's artwork?

No. We only accept original works created by the applicant. AI-generated and plagiarised works will not be accepted.

Can two people collaborate on one postcard?

Yes. Collaborative works are welcome. However, only one creator's name will be credited and displayed.

Does the organiser provide printing services?

No. Printing and shipping are the creator's responsibility. If this is your first time printing, we're happy to recommend trusted printing and paper partners.

What if I have no printing experience?

No worries! We can recommend our partner printers and paper suppliers, or you can email us if you need advice throughout the printing process.

Will my artwork be available for sale during the exhibition?
我的作品會在展覽期間進行販售吗？
Yes. All selected artworks will be available for purchase throughout the three-day exhibition. However, you can choose not to sell your design and simply join the exhibition.

Do I need to be present during the exhibition?

Attendance is optional, but we highly encourage it! It's a great opportunity to meet visitors, connect with fellow creators, and share the stories behind your work in person.
